Faith vs Delusion !

Watched "House of Secrets" documentary last night, i never heard, seen or read anything like that before and the very thought of imagining that brutal incident sent chills down my spine. I started wondering why educated people are still believing in superstitions in 21st century ?

Faith gives us strength, it is good to have faith. But when that faith turns into delusion, that turns into a strong superstitious belief and it can bring lot of harm for those who believe it and to those who follow the ones who believe it.

One must know that nothing comes easy in the world, only our hardwork can make our life better. It is our choices, our decisions which effects our lives and decides our future, not the other way around.

No matter what happens we need to believe in ourselves, believe in our hardwork, then our lives will change. But we shouldn't believe in short cuts. One should know where to draw the line between faith and delusion. Otherwise it turns into madness.

Our life is what we create, not what we find. Maybe people will stop believing in superstitions when they stop going after what they don't have, and when they stop controlling other people.

I believe that every family should have a personal counselor to evaluate the psyche levels of family members. This documentary also made it clear that mental health is ignored by most of the people. Going to Psychiartist when you have a problem is still considered as a taboo in some parts of the India.

Ignoring mental health can lead to cases like Burari case. They were all innocent, but they became prey to one family member's mental illness. We need to be very careful what others are teaching us, because what we see and what we hear and what we follow is not the truth always, sometimes even from our own family members. You should choose what you want, not others. Because there Is a hidden story behind every person and every family. You will understand more when you watch the documentary.
