Books which inspired me !

You all know I'm a bibliophile and bookworm. I fell in love with books when I was young as my mom and grandparents used to tell me bedtime stories. That's when I was fascinated with the stories and started finding more stories. Then I asked my mom where can I find more stories. She said books. First I began reading my next year's academic books in advance during most of my summer vacations. So that made me know all the things about the subjects before the teacher explains them to the class. That's how It all started, slowly I moved to novels and other books, and that one hobby and passion changed my life completely, and finally, I'm a published author now. So I was thinking about what to write today and I felt nothing would be better than writing about books.

Reading has been my biggest passion for the past two decades. I have started reading every piece of paper which came my way. I read magazines, newspapers, and Various books. And the list of my favorite books is never-ending. You guys won't believe it but I spent most of my money on books.

Dr. Ambedkar was my biggest inspiration for a collection of books, ever since I read that he used to make insurance for his books but not for him when he was traveling on a ship. Then my interest and respect towards books increased more and I started reading more. Sometimes I used to read 25 books a month. I read Fiction, Nonfiction, Romantic novels, Thrillers, Detective novels, Biographies, and Autobiographies.

Even though I read a lot of books, there are few which touched my heart. The Alchemist novel written by Paulo Coelho will be always my favorite when people ask me for book suggestions. It changed my perspective on life. And I still remember the time when the lead character Santiago works in a crystal shop for a year to reach his destiny. Whenever I go through hardships and whenever I feel my life is falling apart I remember him. I tell myself that you are working in a crystal shop now and everything will be fine soon.

Then comes the book Namesake written by Jhumpa Lahiri. This book has won my heart. It is a book about a name and how a name can be significant in one's life and how a person can go through troubles because of his name. I just loved the narration and while reading this book I noticed that the writer had mentioned the name of a Russian Author Nikolai Gogol who is an inspiration for the name of a lead character in this book. It was indeed a surprise for me. Most of the authors don't write about other authors in their books. And that is what I loved about the American author Jhumpa Lahiri.

So after finishing the book Namesake. I researched the Russian Novelist Nikolai Gogol. Then I read his famous works Overcoat, The Nose. His stories have intense and the way he writes about life makes you think for a while. I just loved the Overcoat story. I couldn't forget the story and the lead character for many days. It had a much impact on me. I'm sure you will find the same when you read it.

My favorite books also have the works of Khaled Hosseini. He is an Afghan- American novelist. He wrote the books Kite Runner, and Thousand Splendid suns. I read both books and both are based on Life in Afghanistan and about how war can change the lives of people. I felt very emotional when I read those books and they gave me a clear picture of the afghan people, their lifestyle, their way of thinking, and the troubles they faced due to war. While reading those books I just felt like everything happened in front of my eyes.

To me, reading was dope. If anyone asks me what makes you high I would say Reading. You can call me crazy but one thing which excites me most is holding a book in my hands. It just feels like there is someone with me and I'm not alone. Books gave me the comfort and company which no living person ever gave me.

One day I watched Actor Vijaya Devara Konda's interview. He spoke about the books which inspired him. He suggested Fountain Head novel by Ayn Rand, and Who moved my cheese? book by Spencer Johnson. I read those books immediately. Fountainhead novel became my favorite ever since. And the characters Howard Roark and Dominique Francon are the greatest characters you can ever forget. Even in real life, there will be people like Roark who wait for success and believe in what they do. Roark's stubbornness, his love for Dominique, and his passion for his work just mesmerized me. I fell in love with his character.

Then I read the shortest book Who moved my cheese? which is a motivational business fable. But I feel that It is also useful in our relationships. The characters sniff, scurry, Hem and Haw inspired me. I always read descriptions before buying a book and before downloading any eBook. So the characters of this book sounded different as I read the book. Many of us just stop when uncertainty happens in our lives. Some move on right away, some take time to move on but they move on, and some people stop at the same point and never move forward. So who moved my cheese is a book about adapting change in personal, professional, and business lives. I hope you guys read this and you find it helpful.

Both the books were amazing and I felt happy that I watched Vijay's interview, otherwise, I would have missed such wonderful books. You won't believe it when I joined a new company, we had some training and the manager asked me to speak about anything in 3 minutes. And I spoke about the book "Who moved my cheese."

When we read any book or when we watch someone speak about books it gives us an idea about their knowledge and their perception of the world. Books allow us to understand people and think clearly. I feel like I have already seen half of the world through books. Books help us to be strong, to be confident, to be compassionate toward others. It not only gave me motivation and direction in my life but it also gave me a lot of knowledge. I hope you will feel the same once you start reading. You don't have to wait 60 years, grow old to know about life. You can simply read a book, gain wisdom, and know how to lead your life. And you will not commit the same mistake that the characters did in the book. So books guide you in the right way.

So I hope you gonna read this book. I will suggest more books in the coming blogs. Have a great day folks.

Start reading books and make your life Beautiful ❤
