Abandoned Villages !

 

There are still so many villages where people don’t have proper houses, proper education, sanitation, roads and electricity. Agriculture has always been their livelihood, but now because of low economic conditions they became daily wagers within their villages and most of them are migrated to other places, and when they migrate they are leaving everything behind which was close to their hearts for the betterment of their families as they are facing lot of troubles for basic needs in their own villages.

The people once lived a descent lives are doing odd jobs now. Rural people never asked us to do any help to them. But they always gave us so much. They do agriculture for us, they get low profits, but they never stopped growing grains for us. They never expected anything in return. 

We need them in every day of our life, without them no one can survive in this world. Yet we forget them as if they don't exist around us. We were not there with them when they were dying, we were not there with them when they lost everything due to poverty. Their debts and lack of knowledge is making them weak and forcing them to migrate to cities. And that migration is taking away everything from them. They work for someone, their life will be always controlled by others and they live a life between regret and dissatisfaction. 

Every year people from cities spend a lot of money to visit other countries for vacations. But if we visit our own villages, we can help them grow with our knowledge, technology and ideas, then no farmer will commit suicide. It is true that we work hard for our families, but it is also important to build lives of people around us. We always want world to be a better place, but it depends only on what we are doing to make it better ? All that we need is a good thought and a good heart. It's time for us to be with them and help them grow.
