Vizag Day 2 Part 1

So the next day began with a yummy breakfast. I told mom about the plan for the day. I actually don't have a habit of taking a guide whenever I visit any new place. I will just research about the place on my own and i mark the locations which i want to visit. Google and uber always helps me to understand the distance between locations. I find it more adventurous going to a new place without knowing anyone there, without any guide, exploring the city, knowing their culture and tradition from the city itself, talking to the local people . That kinda gives me a kick and I feel free and independent. So based upon my research we can actually divide Vizag city into two parts. I was staying in middle of the city near RK beach. If I stand and face towards RK beach on the left side (from last to first ) we have Bheemli beach , then thotlakonda Buddhist monastery, then rushikonda beach, kailasgiri, then zoo, then tenneti park, vuda park, Vishaka museum, aircraft museum, submarine museum. Aircraft and submarine museums are opposite to each other. These museums are on beach road. On the right side from RK beach we have (First to last) Fishing Harbor, Ross hill church, dolphin light house,  and Yarada beach.

So I skipped bheemli beach as it is far from the city. So me and mom wanted to visit Thotlakonda Buddhist monastery. So I booked a cab. But the driver canceled my booking saying that I have to take an intercity cab. So I enquired with my hotel manager and got to know that it is far from city and usually most of the cabs don't come there. I didn't wanted to go outside of the city. So we decided to be within city limits.

We booked another cab to Rushikonda beach. There were so many stalls in the entrance. So I wanted to check them while going back. So we just moved towards the beach and there was so much crowd. That cool breeze was amazing, I really don't have words to express what I saw. That's the most beautiful and clean beach I ever visited. It has captivated me for a while. Then I began playing with waves and that feeling when the water was hitting my feet was beyond words. I enjoyed it a lot.

While I was playing with waves a photographer approached us saying that he will click beautiful pictures, and one photograph costs 20 Rupees. So we said yes and he clicked so many pictures and that guy also showed me so many poses. I couldn't stop laughing. I must say he really clicked my pictures so well. Once it was done I got busy playing with waves. I clicked so many selfies and shot videos of waves. Then I built a sand castle (not so beautiful hahaha). So we also clicked pictures of that too. Then I sat there next to my sand castle and admiring the beauty of sea. When I was drown in my thoughts a 6 to 7 years old kiddo came and spoiled my sand castle. He was laughing aloud while doing it. Even I started laughing. He splashed that sand on me. He kicked that sand castle until he completely destroyed it. His parents were standing near to us and warned him not to do that. But he didn't stop. So we both played for a while.

Then me and mom sat there for a while. I wanted to go for boating but mom didn't allow as the boats were going into the middle of the sea and mom didn't let me go. So we began looking the view. There were tiny cottages on mountain facing sea. If I had known that there are cottages here i would definitely stay there throughout my trip. I missed that chance. Then we went to a stall where an old lady was making noodles and bread omelettes. So we bought a maaza and water bottle from her. Then we saw a resort there. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was so young and they guided us well. So we chose to eat in a glass cabin. From there the beach view was more clear. We ate Prawns biryani. I have decided to eat only sea food as long as I stay at Vizag.

The food was yummy and the prawns were the best. Later I ordered some desert. It just made me cool. We got fresh up there and the washrooms were very clean and there were also cabins to take shower. If I had known this I would definitely carry an extra pair of dress. But my dress wasn't that muddy. So we just cleaned ourselves and then we planned to go to zoo. So I booked a cab. Meanwhile we shopped near the stalls and shopped a Lil there. We saw beautiful show pieces, bracelets, clips. So we bought one in everything.

Lockdown has done one thing that everyone was using Google pay and phone pay. That made my work easy and I just scanned google pay everywhere for payments. Then our cab arrived and we moved towards Indira Gandhi Zoological park.

Story to be continued in next part.
